With the sales numbers showing a healthy growth in the passenger vehicles segment, the competition in the sub-compact SUV segment might just get even tougher.
The Vitara Brezza sold 5,563 buyers in March, while its nearest rival only managed to sell around units 4,456 units which is 1107 less than the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza managed to achieve this feat in spite of being launched after the first week of the month.

The attractive and rugged looks, spacious interiors and an extensive feature list have contributed towards the growing popularity of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza.The compact SUV has also benefited from Maruti Suzuki’s huge service and dealership network.
Fortunately, Maruti Suzuki have decided to increase the production of the Vitara Brezza from 80,000 units to over a lakh units every month. This means that customers will soon get their compact SUV. The Vitara Brezza is available at a starting price of Rs 6.99lakh (ex-Delhi).

Moreover, Maruti Suzuki have already dispatched over 6000 units of the Vitara Brezza since its launch.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza comes powered with only a 1.3-litre, four-cylinder, DDIS diesel engine churning out maximum power output of 88bhp @4000rpm and maximum torque of 200Nm @1750rpm, mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza comes with a wheelbase of 2500mm and will be 3995mm in length, 1790mm in width and 1640mm in height. The ground clearance of the Vitara Brezza is 198mm.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza comes in seven variants- LDi, LDi (O), VDi, VDi (O), ZDi, ZDi+ and ZDi+ Dual Tone.
The Vitara Brezza features a fresh boxy design with an aggressively styled front fascia. The slightly-sloping roof-line adds to the character of the car making it look like a blend of a compact SUV and a hatchback, in the best manner possible. The design looks fresh, and nothing like anything available in the Indian market currently.
